YOGA

 

Yoga (Hatha/Vinyasa)uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. The instructor uses a specific series of postures with a flow of movement. Some props such as bocks or belts to assist a posture or maximize a stretch may be utilized. All methods are used to encourage proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner.
